Sometimes you will notice that retailers will request you again for re-authentication because of any type of technical failure on the Aadhaar SIM linking procedure.

DoT Vijayawada and the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) recently launched a portal called “Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP)”. Through this website, you can easily find out how many SIMs have been issued on your Aadhaar card till now. If any mobile number is linked with your Aadhaar number without your knowledge, then you can also report about it.
You can also easily unlink your old and unused numbers with your Aadhaar. At present, this service is only for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana users, but soon it will be made available to people across the country.

This is a very useful service launched by the Department of Telecom Vijayawada / TRAI / DoT, which can detect and prevent multiple incorrect or unwanted activation of SIM cards.
How to find Aadhaar linked phone numbers in TAFCOP portal?
To find how many SIM cards are linked to your Aadhaar Card or know about your Aadhaar linked mobile SIM, visit the TAFCOP portal.
- Enter your phone number and then click on “Request OTP” button.
- After that enter, the Six digit OTP received on your mobile number.
- Now all the numbers related to your Aadhaar number will be visible on the website.
- Users can report and block numbers that are not in use, or which they do not need.
