Recently, OLA S1 Pro Scooter catch fire in Pune. As you saw in the video OLA S1 Pro parked in front of a shop and suddenly S1 Pro caught fire and within a minute whole scooter turned into ash. Thank God, nobody was harmed due to this fire incident. After this incident, Simple Energy CEOs tweeted that  “ Summer Is Here”. After that Twitter was flooded with safety issue concerns.

 

 

Later, OLA Electric issued a statement regarding the Pune OLA S1 Pro fire tragedy. The company told that they will investigate and shared a joint statement with the customer. In the previous article, we shared the feedback of OLA S1 Pro, many customers who make full payment on January 2022 are not getting their vehicle yet. So the same problem continues to date.

As per the report, this Pune OLA S1 Pro fire incident happened due to thermal stability, which was often faced by electric vehicles that run on lithium-ion batteries. If one cell of lithium-ion batteries is damaged due to overheating, it may be destroyed all the good cells and catch fire on the vehicle. But we wait for OLA’s investigation report but OLA should improve their customer support.

How to Cancel OLA S1 Pro Scooter

For canceling OLA S1 Pro Scooter you need to mail [email protected] with your Order ID, Reason for cancellation, Delivery City, and your registered mobile number. After OLA customer support receives your mail, they will process your cancellation request. After two to three working days you will be able to see the ‘Cancel’ button in your OLA app under the Electric hamburger menu. 

You will get back your money within a month in the same account from which you made the transaction. But keep note that if you want to cancel your OLA S1 Pro Scooter, you must request it before the scooter leaves OLA’s future factory.
