But note that you can’t delete Instagram through the mobile app, you need to log in through a desktop PC. There are two methods to delete your account.

 

 

 

 

First Method 

• Log in with your Instagram through a Desktop computer/desktop mode
• Click on the profile icon placed in the top and right  corner
• Click on the Edit profile option
• Scroll down to the end of the page
• On the last of the page, there is an option for “Temporarily Disable my Account”
• Click on it, on the next screen you will be prompted to enter the reason for disabling your account, enter your answer
• To continue to disable your account enter your password and click on “Temporarily Disable Account”.

Second Method 

• Log in with your account on a desktop
• Search How do I delete my Instagram account 
• Click on the first link 
• Delete your account page will be open
• Select Why do you want to delete your account
• Re-Enter your Insta password
• Click on the Delete option

Your account will be hidden for 30 days and after 30 days your Instagram account will be deleted. Instagram will be showing you the actual date of the account deletion.
