JioBook Laptop 

Reliance’s Most awaited JioBook Laptop will be launch in India soon, recently it is spotted on the BIS certification website by tipster Mukul Sharma (Twitter handle @stufflistings). Mr. Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio was preparing to launch the Jio Phone Next on September 10, but due to chip shortage the cheapest android smartphone launch date now shifted to November 2021.

As per recent news, the JioBook laptop may be launched along with Jio Phone Next this year. As per the announcement of Mr. Ambani at Reliance Annual General Meeting in 2021 JioBook Laptop will be the cheapest and affordable laptop in the world.

JioBook Laptop Body

This laptop body will be made from hard plastic and an aluminum frame. It has a LED-backlit qwerty keypad and a normal size trackpad. It has a single web camera in the front. It has a dual stereo speaker and a microphone.

JioBook Laptop Specifications

JioBook Laptop Specifications: As you know, it will be the cheapest and affordable laptop in the market so don’t expect the high-end specifications from this laptop. Tipster Mukul Sharma shared a screenshot that shows the company listed three internal models of JioBook i.e NB1118QMW, NB1148QMW, and NB1112MM on the Bureau of Indian Standards website.

JioBook laptop will have a High Definition (HD) display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor (11nm)  with Qualcomm’s X12 4G enabled modem, which means it will have a physical SIM card tray in this laptop.

JioBook will have come with 2 GB LPDDR4x  RAM  with 32 GB eMMC storage option and 4 GB LPDDR4x RAM  with 64 GB eMMC storage option. It has a mini HDMI connector for display output. It will support Dual-band wifi (i.e 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).  It will have a 4G SIM card tray, and a three-axis accelerometer. For better audio output it has a Qualcomm audio chip.

JioBook Laptop Operating System

JioBook Laptop Operating System: This laptop runs with the latest custom Android OS. The company partner with Google to develop a special custom JioBook Operating System (Android OS +Jio OS).

Moreover, Jio had also announced that it will come with preinstalled Microsoft office, Microsoft Team, and Microsoft Edge browser. Jio’s native app like Jio page, Jio meet, Jio News, and Jio Chat will be preinstalled on it. It will support Android apps.

JioBook Laptop Performance, Battery

As you know, it is a budget category laptop and the company wants to keep it most affordable so don’t compare it with a regular laptop. Users can play android games with low setting mode. It is designed for students and normal users. 

As per the report, It will be a silent laptop like Apple Mac Book M1. JioBook Laptop will give 11 hours of battery life when it is fully charged.

JioBook Laptop Price, India Launch Date

JioBook Laptop Price: The exact price of this laptop has not been revealed yet. But according to sources, the JioBook Laptop starting price will be around Rs.10,000/- onwards. The price of this laptop will reveal soon because the company is preparing to launch this laptop this year. JioBook Laptop launch date in India may be in November 2021.

JioBook laptop is an android OS-supported laptop and you can not install Microsoft Windows on it. Reliance had talked with a Chinese company Bluebank communication technology for manufacturing and developing this Jio laptop.
