OLA S1 Pro Charging issue come with 1.0.30 OTA update | Final Move OS 2 launch date? | OLA Electric sales down in May

After lots of backlash from its customer, OLA S1 Pro‘s  May month sales declined more than the April month sales. In April, OLA electric top the selling table, and in June Okinawa beat OLA S1 Pro sales again and top the table. Recently, OLA company released a 1.0.30 OTA update to fix the range drop issue and instruct its service engineers to visit the customer’s home and mandatorily install 1.0.30 which is not able to install this OTA update.

As per Rushlane, In May 2022 OLA Electric sales -31.66 % decline as compared to April 2022. In April 2022 company registered 12,702 vehicles in Vahan Portal whereas in May 2022 it comes down to 8,681  units.  Similarly, Okinawa tops the table by registering 8,888 vehicles in the month of May.

But, After installing the 1.0.30 OTA update on OLA S1 Pro, customers are facing the charging issue. OLA S1 Pro customer complaining that after updating to 1.0.30, If power cut happens while charging the scooter and then power comes, then on display it showing the charging continues, but actually charging not done and colling fan and red light not blinking inside of the charger.

Besides that, After installing the 1.0.30 OTA update on OLA S1 Pro charging is going slow, battery drains faster than the previous. Some users complain that when the charge comes to below twenty percent and Eco mode is activated, then if you parked your vehicle then you will not able to ride the scooter again.

I faced the same issue in my OLA S1 Pro scooter and I raised a complaint to customer care. I had to wait for three weeks for servicing my vehicle. After three weeks OLA service personnel come to my home for fixing my issue. They simply diagnose the scooter clear all the cache and downgrade the scooter to S1 and again upgrade to S1 Pro. Service personnel told me that, the problem was now solved but the next day I face the same issue. I call again to this service personnel who had to fix my issue. He told me that that problem will arise, and it may solve when Move OS 2 will be Installed in your OLA S1 pro.  OLA S1 Pro OLD VCU will be changed during updradation.

Note: Now OLA electric provides Move OS 2 Beta 3 to some selected customers who are posting their beautiful pictures with the OLA S1 Pro scooter on OLA CEO Bhavish Agrawal’s Twitter competition. As per the report, the final Move OS 2 OS will release on June 18 and June 19
