OLA S1 Pro Move OS 2.0 release
OLA Electric CEO, Mr. Bhavish Aggarwal announced on 29th April, that the company will choose 100 numbers of OLA S1 Pro customers for the new Move OS 2.0 as Beta testers from May first week. This statement comes after the company failed to provide Move OS 2.0 OTA update by April. After facing several backlashes from customers, the company brings this Beta testing formula to hail its image. But the question is how many days the company takes to complete VCU replacement and push the Move OS 2.0 update to all OLA S1 Pro customers.

True fact is customers choose OLA S1 Pro because of its several good features and 135 km long-range. If you closely study the electric vehicle market (feature-wise), there is no tough competitor for OLA before June, except Simple One ( deliver starting from June), Ather Scooter ( not available across pan India), and Okinawa Okhi 90 ( Not available yet in the market).
To install Move OS 2 OLA electric needs to change its old VCUs from its December, January, and February batch and after changing the VCU they will rollout Move Os 2 Operating system to all its users. OLA will call them whose VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) needs to change and it will be complete within may as said by an OLA official. A separate repair unit will come to change the old VCU.

OLA Electric will arrange a community ride on Sunday (8th May) where they will provide Move OS 2.0 beta to some invited customers, who belong to Bangalore. Other parts of India will wait for Move OS 2.0. But as per our report Move, OS 2.0 may be available to all customers in June. Move OS 2 will be pushed in a phase-wise manner and the VCU change program takes some time as per the report. As per a top official OLA s1 Pro main stand and other accessories will be delayed.
Tips to resolve sudden range drop problem
As per our study sudden range drop issue happens to those, who are not charging the vehicle regularly or ride their vehicle at an interval. OLA S1 Pro BMS ( Battery Management System) failed to show the correct battery percentage on screen and due to that people assume that they have enough battery for travel. You must charge and drive your vehicle regularly to avoid sudden charge drop. OLA Electric says the range drop issue will be solved after Move Os 2.0 update.
