Redmi Note 10S is a higher version of the Redmi Note 10 series. It also looks like a Redmi Note 10. It has three colour variants one is deep sea blue, shadow black, and frost white.

The black panel of the Redmi Note 10 is made from plastic (Polycarbonate). It is slightly curved from both sides and a premium looks. It is a lightweight smartphone.

The weight of this phone is 179 Gram. Rectangular camera bump in the backside of the phone where quad-camera setup is aligned and a Redmi logo printed side edge of the phone. Redmi integrated a fingerprint sensor on the power button and a volume up and down switch placed near the power button. On the bottom side, Redmi placed type -C connector, a 3.5 mm jack, Mic & a stereo Speaker.

Redmi Note 10S Processor

Redmi Note 10S has a MediaTek Helio G95 processor. This is a 12nm processor and clocked up to 2.05 GHz. This processor has enough power to handle day to day activities of users.

This 64 GB and 128 GB storage is a UFS 2.2 type storage. It has also a dedicated memory card slot which expandable up to 512 GB.

In India, Redmi brings this phone as a midrange competitor. The price of the Redmi Note 10S is Rs.14,999 for its 6GB of RAM and 64 GB storage capacity and Rs. 15,999 for its 6GB of RAM and 128 GB storage capacity.

As per specification and camera quality, this price is ok. If you have no budget issue, spend Rs.1000 more on the 6GB + 128 GB storage variant.

Redmi Note 10S Battery

It has a 5000 mAh Lithium-Ion battery. This massive battery gives a 24 hrs battery life if the user is using it normally. With a single charge, this smartphone can give a decent battery life for heavy use.

It supports 33-watt fast charging and fast charging adapter is already included in this box. So don’t worry about the charger.

This smartphone takes thirty minutes for 40 percent charge, one hour for 67 percent charge, and 1.15 to 1.5 hours for 100 percent charge. We have not to face any heating issues after heavy use.

Redmi Note 10S Software

This Redmi Note 10S comes with MIUI 12.5 it is the first smartphone that comes with preloaded MIUI. This Redmi Note 10S runs on top of Android 11 and it will be upgradable to higher android versions when available.

 

My unit comes with May Month Andriod security patch. Xiaomi also showing sponsored advertisements on this phone. As you know lots of bloatware are preloaded on this phone, yes you can uninstall some bloatware apps.

When I use this Redmi Note 10S I get promotional notifications from GetApps and the Themes app while using the smartphone which is irritated users.

After Redmi Note 10S review and testing we found that Redmi Note 10S is value for money for users. Xiaomi has introduced this smartphone as a successor of the Redmi Note 10 with a better processor.

Customers go with its higher variant for a higher storage option.  But we also notice that Redmi has not significantly improved Redmi Note 10S camera as compared to Redmi Note 10.

The Redmi Note 10S  feature and price in India is justifying because of its processor, Screen, battery life, and latest OS.
