Jio prepaid plans price increased by 21 percent

Reliance Jio announced its price hike after its competitor Airtel and Vodafone Idea hike their plan price. Jio increase 21% of their plan value this time. Reliance Jio has followed the footprint of its competitor and announced new rates for all its prepaid plans i.e Jio phone plans, Data add-on plans. Jio’s all-new plans will be applicable from 1st December 2021. Its customer can recharge their number with an old plan before a new plan is implemented. According to the statement of Reliance JIO, “Jio continues to provide lowest tariffs and the best quality service – New plans to be available from 1st December 2021 Mumbai, 28 November 2021: In line with its commitment to further strengthen a sustainable telecom industry, where every Indian is empowered with a true digital life, Jio today announced its new unlimited plans. These plans will provide the best value in the industry. Upholding the Jio promise of providing the best quality service at the lowest price globally, Jio customers will continue to be the biggest beneficiaries. The new unlimited plans will go-live on 1st December 2021 and can be opted from all existing touchpoints and channels.”.  Also, read. Jio New prepaid plans

Previously company charged Rs 75 for Jio phone users with 28 days validity, but now it is increased to 91, with this plan you will get three (3) GB of data, unlimited voice, and 50 SMS. Similarly, its 129 starting plan is now modified to 155, and its daily 1GB plan will be revised to 179 with a validity of 24 days. The Rs 199 plan which was a popular plan, will now cost Rs 239 for 28 days and will continue with 1.5GB of data per day. Conclusion 

Reliance Jio prepaid plans are expensive now and it keeps the first position in the telecom market. The company may use this fund for acquiring 5G spectrum and deploying 5G networks in India.
