Titan EyeX Audio Smartglass

TITAN EyeX the new eyewear just launched in India. This new smart glass will be competing with Fasttrack Smart Audio Sunglasses and other competitors. Titan smart glass will be powered by a Qualcomm chipset. The company includes a scratch-resistant glass with this TITAN EyeX but a user can upgrade its glass quality by paying an extra amount. This Eye has wireless earphones, a speaker, and a fitness tracker for providing its best. This smart glass comes with a black Titan EyeX frame, user manual, charging cable, carry pouch. Before pairing with your mobile, initiate a factory reset of EyeX. its battery is split with two rims and you need to put both connector heads on its rim point to charge.

Titan EyeX Design 

Titan EyeX body and square frame Shape design is made with plastic and painted with black colour. EyeX smart glass can be worn by all men and women. Two wide flat rims with dual speaker and other sensors tightly hold the ear and it will come in medium size. Users can change EyeX glass according to their needs. Users can add power glasses (Power Above +2 Cylinder) with the frame. The company charges extra for Fog-free, Anti-reflective, Blue filter, and clear sight glass. Titan EyeX Feature, Specifications

Titan EyeX has more features than its competitor. The Titan EyeX also has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It has inbuilt Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity and alongside a dual speaker fitted with its frame. Titan EyeX has a touch control feature for Play, Pause and Skip of played music. The company does not mention which  Qualcomm chipset they used in this glass.

EyeX has some hands-free voice-controlled features like hands-free calling, Voice navigation, and voice notification. These aren’t your regular earphones as it has open-ear speakers. It has a built-in pedometer that helps EyeX track your daily steps, distance walked and calories burned. EyeX can monitor and warn about your daily screen time (Mobile, TV) and keep your eye healthier by giving you a warning if you cross excess screen time.

As per the company, Titan EyeX features Clear Voice Capture (CVC) technology that captures the clear voice and automatically adjusts the volume. This eyewear comes with an inbuilt tracker to help users locate the glasses in case they misplace eyeglass. In terms of battery life, Titan EyeX can deliver up to five hours of battery backup with the smart features enabled. Users can wear EyeX the whole day as prescription spectacles.

TITAN EyeX Price in India

The Titan EyeX Price in India is starting at Rs 9,999 (only the frame) it will be available to purchase on the Titan Eyeplus website as well as Titan’s physical store. But you may note that, with the powered lenses, the price in India starts at Rs 10,398 and goes up with add-ons like Fog-free (Rs 500) and anti-reflective coatings (Rs 250), Blue filter (Rs 800), and clear sight (Rs 2700).

As per Saumen Bhaumik, CEO of Eyewear Division at Titan Company Limited, “it would be enough for continuous usage for most users.”. TITAN EyeX smartglasses will be more affordable than Snapchat-owned smart glasses. These are Titan’s third smart-spectacles after Orange Square SkyFly Unisex Sunglasses launched in 2019 and Fastrack Audio Sunglasses launched in 2020. As you know, both the Titan and Fasttrack are owned by the TATA group, so that the competition will be direct to Snapchat smart glasses which were launched earlier.
