Xiaomi 12 Receive BIS certification

Xiaomi 12 is the latest smartphone that comes from the smart giant Xiaomi spotted in the subway of China. Recently company launch its Xiaomi 11 series in the Indian Market as well as in the global market. Xiaomi 12 will have a punch-hole camera and now is in the testing period.

 

Recently, spotted Xiaomi 12 is in a protective cover to hide its design but the side panel of this device is visible throughout the protective case. Its side panel has volume control and a  “Mi” logo printed on the protective panel. One of its alleged protective tampered glass was revealed, which has slightly curved. It may have a ceramic back panel.

 

Xiaomi 12 has a USB -C type charging port and speaker grill on this device. This Chinese smartphone company will be launching three models of Xiaomi i.e Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro & 12 Ultra. Report also says a new Xiaomi 12 mini will be launched along with the main model. In terms of design, the Xiaomi 12 series flagship model will similar to  Xiaomi Civi which is recently launched in China.

Xiaomi 12 Processor

Recently, the company cut down the price of Mi MIX 4 and it is a clear indication that a new flagship series is coming. Based on some reputed tech bloggers, 12 series will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor. 

 

Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor will be manufactured using a 4nm process, which indicates it will be fast and more power-efficient than its predecessor. We hope Qualcomm will announce its new 898 processor series before the 12 series is launched. Qualcomm will provide the first batch of its Snapdragon 898 SoC to Xiaomi.

 

It may pack up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, there may be no option for expandable storage in this device. Xiaomi 12 is likely to run on Android 12 OS out of the box with the latest custom 13 MIUI skin on top.

Xiaomi 12 Specifications

The Xiaomi 12 device will come with an LTPO adaptive refresh rate and the screen refresh rate will be automatically adjusted between 1 – 120Hz when requires. Due to this new adaptive refresh rate technology, Xiaomi 12 screen refresh rate will be automatically set to 120Hz when a user plays high-quality games.

 

However, when the user opens any social apps other than games its screen refresh rate is reduced to low to save battery power. This smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC which is a successor of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 series.

 

Xiaomi 12 Camera

In the camera department, it will have a triple rear camera setup, it will have placed a high-quality 50-megapixel camera sensor which will be a Sony camera sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with 5X optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel  periscope telephoto camera sensor will be placed on the back. The main 50-megapixel camera sensor is expected to support optical image stabilization(OIS).

Xiaomi 12 Battery

Xiaomi 12 series will have a large 5000 mAh capacity battery. This device will have wireless charging facility along with 120W facts charging. Its 5000 mAh large battery will get a full charge within 20 minutes.

 

Xiaomi 12 Released Date, Price

Report says that Xiaomi 12 released date in the Chinese market will happen in mid-December and after that its global launch will happen. Xiaomi 12 India released date not disclosed yet and hope it will be released before the new year. Xiaomi 12 receives the Indian BIS certification and this is the global variant of the device, which will likely carry the same specifications and features to India. Xiaomi 12 series price is not confirmed yet, we will let you know with the confirmed price when announced.

Conclusion 

Xiaomi 12 series will be a flagship series and the company may change smartphone processor according to its model but the top variant of the smartphone will have the latest processor and camera. Xiaomi 12 series will be a 5G series but we are still waiting for Xiaomi’s official announcement. Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be the top variant of this series.
